NBSTC SILIGURI WINS OVER NRI AT SMKP LEAGUE

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 06th December, 2015: In one of the matches of the SMKP 1st Division Cricket league at Kanchenjungha Stadium which was between NBSTC Siliguri Depot and NRI Siliguri. NRI won the toss and elected to field first. NBSTC Siliguri Depot scored 194 runs loosing 9 wickets in 45 over. Rahul Kundu was the highest scorer with 49 runs in 47 balls. In reply, NRI Siliguri could only manage to score 89 runs at the cost of 9 wickets in 45 over. After losing 9 wickets, NBSTC Siliguri Depot scored 194 runs in 45 over. Rahul Kundu of NBSTC Siliguri Depot made 49 runs in 47 balls. To chase the target of 195 runs NRI Siliguri scored only 89 runs in 45 over after losing their 9 wickets. No mention worthy scores were scored by any batsman of NRI.  Surya Pratap Bhowmik of NBSTC Siliguri Depot took 4 wickets in 9 over by giving only 7 runs.
